Not to be Confused with TightVNC

The proper version of TightVNC,with no bloat and freely open-source for all enviroments (including enterprise enviroments)

it was based on the never released VNC 4 branch of TightVNC on launch

it all started when someone named Peter Åstrand left TightVNC after six years (2003) because they cannot support something's development

after its launch,many linux distros that used TightVNC before the launch for VNC moved to TigerVNC and it remains in its popular status of usage and inclusion
