In French, we don't say something as simple as "plane ticket" or "music room", we say something like "billet d'avion" or "salle de musique", which loosely translates to "ticket of plane" or "room of music".
Also, we don't say something like "french university" or "mexican hotel", we flip it around and say "universite francaise" (we add a "e" to the end of francais, because universite is feminine + who the hell is putting gender in words?) or "hotel mexicain", which loosely translates to "university french" or "hotel mexican".
When you say "pet" in english, you would say "pet". But in French, you say "animal de compagnie", which loosely translates to "animal of company".
I mean, they're not wrong.
